Man Jailed In Connection With Woman Found Dead In Red Cedar River

LANSING (WWJ/AP) - Lansing police say they've arrested a 19-year-old Flint man in the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old woman whose body was found in the Red Cedar River.

The man, whose name wasn't immediately released, was arrested on an open murder warrent. He's expected to be arraigned soon.

The body of Schnee Hyon Sin of Swartz Creek was found floating in the river near Crego Park on Dec. 8. Police say she died from a gunshot wound.

Sin's body was found one day after authorities found the body of 17-year-old Artvon Moore of Lansing floating in the river near the capital city's downtown. He's believed to have drowned.
