
DETROIT (WWJ) – Wayne State University is offering grief counseling to students after the sudden death Monday of a football player.

Student athlete Serxho Guraleci passed away Monday morning while at an off campus workout in Macomb County.
A statement from the university says that Guraleci was a defensive tackle on the Warriors team for four years and was loved by everyone and says they are having a hard time understanding his death.
Guraleci was awarded the Courtney “Cortez” Smith award for character just last year. He played in all 48 games during his college football career and stated 25 times for the Warriors.
