Terry Foster With Waza Flo Head Coach
By: Terry Foster
It's not the Colorado Avalanche and Detroit Red Wings yet. But it is getting there.
Waza Flo, Detroit's professional indoor soccer team, plays Chicago Vortex 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Taylor Sportsplex with plenty on the line. If Waza (12-2) wins it will repeat as Eastern Division Champions of the Professional Arena Soccer League with one home game remaining.
Earlier this season Flo blew a seven goal lead to Vortex, fell behind by three with a few minutes remaining and rallied to win a thriller at the end. There were hard feelings and harsh words in one of the more competitive games of the season. Some over flow is expected for this game.
Flo coach Dominic Scicluna joined 97.1 FM the Ticket to talk about the rivalry and what he expects. Scicluna was on his way to get his knee examined after he was injured in the last game.
Join Scicluna as he joins Terry Foster from the Valenti and Foster Show, heard Monday through Friday from 2-6 p.m.
