Association For Advancing Automation Launches New Web Site

ANN ARBOR -- The Association for Advancing Automation has launched a new Web site, www.A3automate.org. A3 is the umbrella trade association for the Robotic Industries Association; AIA - Advancing Vision and Imaging; and the Motion Control Association.

"The launch of our Web site is the next step in our strategy to engage stakeholders from around the world and demonstrate to them why automation transforms the way business is done," said Jeff Burnstein, president of A3. "The Web site will be used for informational and educational purposes as we continue to advocate for the industry. It will also track major industry news stories, such as the recent 60 Minutes segment on the robots vs. jobs debate and our response."

A3 is the global voice for the need to automate, focusing on "why" automating is good. RIA, AIA and MCA will continue to focus on "how" companies and organizations specifically can apply robots, vision and motion control. A3's mission is to be the global advocate for the benefits of automating in every market space.

"We already host the world's leading Web sites for information on robotics, vision and motion control technologies," added Burnstein. "This new Web site will be a great addition to our online presence and enhance what is currently offered through the Robotics Online, Vision Online and Motion Control Online Web sites."
