Robot Design Webinar Coming Feb. 28: The Ann Arbor based Robotic Industries Association will sponsor a Webinar Thursday, Feb. 28 from noon to 1 p.m. Eastern time on "Robot Design, Integrated Controls and Software Architectures of Industrial Robots." Register at https://www1.gotomeeting.com/register/839237489. This Webinar will describe relevant industrial robot designs for various applications and how they have improved for better performance. It will also describe integrated controls on increasingly powerful and capable robot controllers with multiprocessing, multitasking and coordinated device control. Lastly the webinar will describe software architectures common in industrial robot platforms and their evolution, enhancements and use in current applications. After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the Webinar. System requirements for PC-based attendees are Windows 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server; for Apple-based attendes it's Mac OS X 10.5 or newer. for mobile attendees, it's  iPhone, iPad, Android phone or Android tablet.

Detroit Chamber offers Detroit Policy Conference: The 2013 Detroit Policy Conference will be held Thursday, March 28 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the MotorCity Casino Hotel, 2901 Grand River Ave. The cost is $75 for Chamber members and $125 for others. The 2013 Detroit Policy Conference will again bring together urban and suburban corporate executives, community leaders and small business owners to engage in conversation on Detroit's transformation.

Selling Smart Workshop - Questioning Techniques - Asking the Right Questions
