Two Men Wanted For Questioning In January Assault, Robbery

DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the two men who are wanted for questioning regarding a crime that occurred last month on the city's west side.

Police say the incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. on January 2 in the 3700 block of Tillman.

According to police, a 65-year-old man was approached by the two men who assaulted him, forced him into his home and took personal items from the location. The victim, whose name was not released, was taken to a hospital after the attack for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

The first suspect is described as a 28-year-old black male, about 200 pounds with a dark complexion. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a black skull-cap and blue puffy coat. He was also armed with a short barrel, nickel-plated revolver.

The second suspect is described as a 22-year-old black male with a medium build and medium complexion. At the time of the crime, he was wearing what appeared to be a fake mustache, a black skull-cap and grey hoodie.
