The Detroit Lions have reportedly re-signed free agent Chris Houston to a five-year contract. According to Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports, Houston's deal is for $25 million over five-years, $15.5 over the first three years.

Last season with the Lions, Houston had 56 tackles, two interceptions and two forced fumbles.

Houston has been with the Lions since the 2010 season after being signed as a free agent from the Atlanta Falcons.

Houston was drafted in the second round of the 2007 draft (41st overall) by the Atlanta Falcons out of Arkansas.
