RTT Grows In Royal Oak
ROYAL OAK -- RTT USA has moved and expanded its Royal Oak location.
The German-based 3D visualization software company says it has experienced huge growth in its Detroit office over the last year and has moved to a facility four times the size of its previous building on North Main Street -- 42,000 square feet, vs. the old space's 13,700 squre feet.
The offices are now situated in the Howard & Howard building at 400 W. Fourth St. in Royal Oak. RTT occupies the fourth floor. This move marks a milestone for the company that opened its Michigan location in 2005 with only eight employees. There are now over 140 people in the Royal Oak branch.
On Tuesday March 5, RTT began operating from the new site. The office boasts 14 conference rooms, wellness rooms, an expanded cafeteria and ample room for development.
Peter Stevenson, CEO of RTT USA Inc., said the company "is happy to remain in Royal Oak, the centralized location is a great benefit to our clients throughout the metro-Detroit area."
RTT just finished a five-year lease at the Contract Design building located at 423 N. Main St. in Royal Oak and has made a five-year commitment to the building on Fourth Street. Surrounded by local restaurants, boutiques and businesses, the location offers great amenities to employees.
RTT is hiring as well. The company currently has openings for an Art Director, PR Intern, Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager, Sr. 3D Artist/Compositor, IT Co-Op Interns, Render Wrangler, Project Accountant, Account Manager, Sr. Software Developer/Pipeline Lead, CG Supervisors, and we are always looking for 3D/Compositor talent, Summer Interns, and Industrial Design/Creative talent.
As the organization settles into the new surroundings, it looks forward to the annual visualization open house, RTT Excite Detroit. Taking place June 20-21, the event plays host to guests from the aerospace, automotive, consumer goods, footwear and apparel industries from around the country. While Excite is traditionally held off-site, this year RTT will take advantage of the newly acquired space and host the event in-house.
