Report: Louis Delmas Signs 2-Year Deal With Lions

DETROIT (97.1 The Ticket) According to Profootballtalk.com, the Lions have made another splash in the free agency market -- Louis Delmas has agreed to come back to the Lions on a two-year deal worth $9.465 million.

Last season with the Lions, Delmas played in only eight game, posting 38 tackles and one interception. Delmas, who played his college ball at Western Michigan, was drafted by the Lions in the second round of the 2009 NFL Draft (33rd overall).

Over his four-year career with the Lions he has played in 49 games and has 267 tackles, 3 sacks, 3 interceptions and a touchdown.

Delmas had visited with the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers over the past week.
