DETROIT (WWJ) – Bed bugs have made their way into hotels, college dorms, and even homes … but now one metro Detroit office building is dealing with the pesky problem.

The Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan offices in Southfield will be treated this weekend for bed bugs.

BCBS Spokesperson Helen Stojic tells WWJ that the critters were discovered … but only on one floor.

She says the company was able to pinpoint the source of the problem and they hope to have the bugs eradicated after this weekend.

She also said that employees were able to continue normal operations.
