Whitney owner Bud Liebler :”We think it’s time with all that’s going on in Midtown and downtown Detroit – all the good things – despite the emergency manager, there are so many good things happening here – we just … wanted to get involved and take advantage of all the growth and excitement.”

Liebler tells WWJ’s Vicki Thomas that although the breakfast menu is fantastic – he had nothing to do with it.

“I did not do the menu and you’ll be grateful for that – our chef did it,” he laughed. Our general manager had over a period of weeks – it was trying out different foods and testing them and all that,” said Liebler.
