Man Drives Around School Bus Injuring Westland Teen

WESTLAND (WWJ) - Alcohol is believed to be a factor behind an accident that injured a Westland teen.

Police say a 33-year-old man was driving a van on Schuman Street near Cherry Hill when he drove around a school bus that was dropping off students.

Police say the van hit one of the students, a 17-year-old, before running into a tree.

The driver of the van and the student were both taken to a local hospital, and are expected to be okay.

The driver, however, was arrested and charges are pending.
