2 Arrested In Death Of Man In Ypsilanti

YPSILANTI (WWJ) - Two people are in custody in connection with a deadly fight in Ypsilanti.

Investigators say a 46-year-old River Rouge man was killed during some kind of altercation in the 900 block of Railroad Street.  It happened on Easter Sunday at around 9:30 p.m.

Police said the man, whose name has not been released, died as a result of blunt force trauma.

Officers arrested two suspects a short time later -- a 20-year-old woman from Ypsilanti and a 20-year-old man from Farmington Hills.

Police said they victim and the suspects were acquainted, but they aren't saying what the relationship is.
