Man, Child On Motorcycle Hit By Van
WARREN (WWJ) - A man and a 10-year-old boy were taken to the hospital following a motorcycle accident on Sunday.
Warren police said the child was riding on the back of his grandfather's bike at Schoenherr Road and Prospect when a minivan hit them, just before 2:30 p.m.
Police said the man, in his 50s, suffered a wrist injury. The boy was not seriously hurt but was also taken to the hospital as a precaution. He was back home by 5 p.m. and the grandfather was expected to be released later in the evening.
Police said both the man and the boy were wearing helmets.
No else was hurt. No names have been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
