Island Search Yields Few Clues For Missing Muskegon Woman

GRAND HAVEN (AP) - Authorities in West Michigan have searched a small island after receiving an anonymous tip in the disappearance of a gas station clerk.

Norton Shores Police Chief Dan Shaw says police found nothing on Harbor Island in Grand Haven that would help them locate 25-year-old Jessica Heeringa.

She disappeared April 26th before she was set to close an Exxon Mobil gas station. Shaw says about 2,000 tips have been received in the case.
