Troy Police Search For Condom Crook

TROY (WWJ) - Police in Troy are searching for a man who stole nearly $150 worth of condoms from a Rite Aid Pharmacy.

Police say the incident happened around 4 a.m. Monday at the Rite Aid on West Maple Road, near Coolidge Highway.

A store employee told police the man, who was holding four boxes of condoms, asked him to check the price of some baby formula. When the employee went to check the price, police say the man ran out of the store with the condoms -- valued at $147.96.

The suspect then fled the area in a silver Dodge Charger. He is described as a black male, approximately 40-years-old, bald, with a mustache. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and black athletic shoes.
