ESD Sets Annual Golf Outing: The Engineering Society of Detroit's second annual golf outing offers everyone concerned with science and engineering a great way to have a lot of fun, meet great people and companies, honor the memory of The Engineering Society of Detroit Institute's Co-Founder, David A. Skiven, and continue his work to solve the problems we face in Michigan. The event will be held June 3 at Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, with an 11 a.m. registration and luncheon, a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start, and a 5 p.m. reception and open bar followed by dinner. Diamond sponsor of the event is DTE Energy. Platinum sponsors are Barton Malow, Commercial Contracting Corp., Durr, Ghafari and Link. ESD Offers Open House Networking Event: On Thursday, June 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. at ESD Headquarters in Southfield, the Engineering Society of Detroit will offer an open house networking event, "ESD: Your Passport to New Opportunities." Starting to think about your summer vacation plans? Make sure it includes a visit to ESD Headquarters on June 6! Guests will receive a special passport, to mark each stop on the tour. Let ESD be your guide to help you connect with everything we have to offer. From member benefits and educational classes, conferences and events, to solving problems, ESD and its Institute are uniquely positioned to help you succeed.
