NSF International Strategic Registrations (NSF-ISR) Appoints Four Leading Management Systems Experts: Ann Arbor-based NSF International Strategic Registrations, a leader in management systems registrations, has appointed four leading management systems experts to key positions: Carl Blazik has been appointed Vice President of Technical Operations and Brad Kitchen as Vice President of North American Operations.   Additionally, NSF-ISR has hired Khurshed Kutky to serve as Associate Director for NSF-ISR's Business Solutions and Jeff Greaves as Business and Technical Manager, Automotive. Blazik has over 30 years of experience in management systems registration and previously served as President of AQA International, where he successfully expanded AQA's accreditations and global footprint, leading to its acquisition by NSF-ISR in 2011. As Vice President of Technical Operations, Blazik will provide leadership, strategy and direction for operational aspects of NSF-ISR management systems registration services worldwide. This includes management systems registrations for a wide range of industries including aerospace, automotive, chemical, consumer goods, energy, environmental, food, forestry, IT, manufacturing, medical devices, recycling, retail, services and water industries. He is a certified lead auditor and has been an active member of several industry groups including IAAR (International Association of Accredited Registrars), IACBA (International Automotive Certification Body Association) and AAQG-RMC (Americas Aerospace Quality Group – Registrar Management Committee). He attended Northwood University and Terra Technical College majoring in business administration and nuclear engineering. Kitchen is a Quality Management System Lead Auditor with over 18 years experience in all facets of management systems registration. Throughout his career, Kitchen has guided thousands of organizations in various industries through the process of achieving registration to international standards and technical specifications. In his new role as Vice President of North America Operations, Kitchen will oversee regional operations managers and be responsible for NSF-ISR service delivery throughout the Americas.  Kitchen previously served as Managing Director of NSF-ISR's operations in Canada and also is a past Director of IAAR (International Association of Accredited Registrars) and IACBA (International Automotive Certification Body Association). Kitchen earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Concordia College in Ann Arbor. As Associate Director for NSF-ISR's Business Solutions, Kutky will be responsible for managing NSF-ISR's energy, occupational health and safety (OHSAS) and supply chain management registration services in addition to NSF-ISR's customized audit solutions and social responsibility programs. Kutky has over 20 years' experience in safety and quality management and is an active member of the OHSAS Project Group, the Canadian Standards Association Technical Committee for OH&S Training and the Canadian ISO/TC176 Technical Advisory Committee. He also serves as Director on the Board of the Toronto Chapter of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering (CSSE) and is on the National Committee of the CSSE Healthcare Practice Group. He earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India and is a Certified Quality Engineer, a Registered Safety Professional and a certified Lead Auditor for Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental, Quality and Energy Management Systems. Greaves brings to his role as NSF-ISR Business and Technical Manager over 17 years' experience in the systems registration industry. In his new role, he will manage NSF-ISR's quality management systems services to the automotive industry, which includes International Automotive Task Force-accredited  ISO/TS 16949 registration services.  Prior to joining NSF-ISR, Greaves served in many leading quality assurance and engineering roles for international certification organizations as well as tier one automotive companies where he worked closely with most major automotive and heavy trucking OEMs. Greaves is an RAB QMS Lead Auditor, an IATF ISO/TS 16949 Lead Auditor and an ISO 14001 Auditor. He has performed more than 2,300 third-party management systems audits throughout his career.  Greaves earned a master's degree in engineering from the University of Western Ontario and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo.
