Shelby Township Police Sergeant Scott Trumbo says the sheriff’s office will decide how long that search will continue along the Clinton River for Dixon.
“He’s 47-years-old, six-foot tall, 190 pounds with grey hair and a goatee. He was believed to be wearing a red life jacket with black shorts and he has a kayak that’s blue on top and white on the bottom,” said Sgt. Trumbo.
He says police, the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, and family are searching for Dixon Sunday.
“They’re the ones that are actively conducting a search of the river. It’s also my understanding that the family is organizing volunteers to search whatever areas of the river that they are capable of doing,” added Trumbo.MORE NEWS: Michigan Reports 6,080 New COVID-19 Cases, 82 Deaths
