CareTech Solutions Board Appoints New Chairman: CareTech Solutions, a Troy-based IT and Web products and services provider for United States hospitals, announced today the appointment of Brian Connolly, president and CEO, Oakwood Healthcare Inc., as Chairman of CareTech Solutions' board of directors. Connolly replaces Peter Karmanos Jr., retired chairman of the board, Compuware Corp. CareTech is a privately held company formed in 1998. It is governed by a six-person board with equal representation from its owners, Compuware Corp. (Nasdaq: CPWR), Oakwood Healthcare Inc. and Vanguard Health Systems Inc. (NYSE: VHS). Bob Paul, CEO of Compuware Corp. was also elected to the CareTech Solutions board, filling the open Compuware seat as a result of Karmanos' retirement.
