Man Makes Gun Threat At Selfridge
HARRISON TOWNSHIP (WWJ) - Michigan State Police were called to Selfridge Air National Guard Base overnight after a man walked up to security officers and said he had a gun.
Military police had disarmed the man by the time state police arrived, at around 8:30 p.m. Monday. A .32 caliber 5-shot revolver was recovered and turned over the state police.
No one was hurt.
Police said the suspect, who was taken into custody, may have a mental disorder. His name has not been released.
A state police investigation is ongoing.
