Dearborn Heights Police Stepping Up Patrols After String Of Accidents

DEARBORN HEIGHTS (WWJ) - Police in Dearborn Heights are cracking down on speeding and other illegal driving habits beginning tomorrow.

Dearborn Heights police sergeant Al Nason tells WWJ's Zahra Huber that the accidents on Ford Road are getting more and more severe -- and that's why they're stepping up patrols all week long.

Nason says they're watching out for people speeding, running red lights, texting, and just not paying attention to the road. And Nason says those who are caught breaking the law -- will not be catching a break.
