ATTI Awarded Training Equipment Contract with Ford Motors: ATTI of Michigan, a Franklin-based subsidiary of Applied Technology Systems, and the sole distributor of Amatrol products in the State of Michigan was awarded a second contract for training equipment by Ford Motor Co. that will provide the technology updates to their very successful Siemens PLC Training in the Ford Powertrain operations. ATTI and Amatrol will deliver updated training equipment to work in conjunction with the curriculum developed in the initial contract. The training program will cover programmable controls, human machine interfaces, and industrial communications to incorporate Siemens latest technologies of safety integration. This program is designed for both skilled trades maintenance and operations employees as well as plant engineering. This program will instruct plant personnel in the operation of Siemens Safety Integrated PLC's, its communications, and troubleshooting common problems. It is intended to eliminate the company's use of outside suppliers for this type of work.
