Arts Du Jour

The official charity preview for Arts, Beats & Eats happens in downtown Royal Oak 6-10 p.m. Thursday. It features lives music from four of the bands you'll see at the Labor Day weekend event, plus art exhibits and a sampling from local restaurants. Prime 29 Steakhouse will be there serving filet sliders, lollipop lamb,  grilled Cajun shrimp and much, much more. General admission is $65 and includes three drink tickets.

Depeche Mode at DTE

Depeche Mode will heat up the DTE Energy Music Theatre Thursday. Lawn seats start at $40. Get more information HERE.

Detroit Zoo

It's adults-only at the Detroit Zoo Thursday, where Zoomance will allow couples to stroll the grounds sans kids while enjoying food and drinks from 6-9 p.m.  It will include tram tours, talks by zookeepers, and more. The cost is $14. Get more information HERE.

Family Movie Night

The city of Westland is hosting a family movie night at 6 p.m. Thursday so grab some popcorn and enjoy "Hotel Transylvania" at Jaycee Park next to the Mike Modana arena.
