More Than 1,200 Jobs Available At ESD Job Fair

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) -- Engineering and technical professionals will be able to choose from hundreds of great jobs during the Fall Engineering Society of Detroit Engineering and Technology Job Fair, being held Monday, Sept. 9 from 2 to 7 p.m. at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi.

As of Wednesday, the job fair will feature employment offers from close to 40 companies, including Ford, Link Engineering, Midwest Steel, DTE Energy, Denso, Consumers Energy, Ghafari, Yazaki North America, and more.

Exhibit space is still available for companies seeking to hire for full, part-time or co-op positions and in various fields, including architecture, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer science, design, energy, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, cyber security, environmental engineering, aerospace engineering, transportation, biofuels, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, programming, and other engineering and technical fields.

The job fair is free to attend for ESD members. Non-ESD members pay $10 if registered by Aug. 29, which includes a one-year membership in ESD. Registration after Aug. 29 is $15, which also includes the one-year membership. The membership offer is good for new first time members only.
