DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are looking for the man who allegedly kidnapped and violated a 27-year-old woman near Wayne State University.

Authorities have released images of the suspect that were captured on surveillance video in hopes the public can help identify the man.

According to police, the victim was inside the laundry room of her apartment building in the 600 block of Prentis, near 2nd Avenue, around 11 p.m. Sunday when the crime occurred.

The victim told police that the suspect approached her and forced her outside. It's alleged that the suspect sexually assaulted the woman in an alley, and then forced her walk with him to several ATMs in the area.
