The Detroit Pistons Want Your Blood
AUBURN HILLS, Mich. (WWJ) - The Detroit Pistons want your blood.
Palace Sports and Entertainment, along with the American Red Cross, are asking you to "Give Blood to Honor Your Hero". The annual drive was organized in 2002 to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11 and to help save lives by building the blood supply in Southeastern Michigan.
Everyone who gives blood will be recognized as a Pistons Game Changer and will receive a pair of tickets to the October 10th preseason game between the Detroit Pistons and the world champion Miami Heat.
The drive runs from 7am to 6:45 pm at the Palace of Auburn Hills' North Pavilion.
