Detroit Police Ask For Help ID'ing Two Alleged Armed Robbers
DETROIT (WWJ) Members of the Detroit Police Department are requesting assistance from the public in locating the two men connected to a robbery of a local business.
Police said the incident happened at 10 a.m. Thursday, September 12. That's when the armed man known as "suspect No. 1" entered a T-Mobile cellular phone store in the 3000 block of East Jefferson and ordered a 46-year-old female and 24-year-old male employee to the back of the location.
Then suspect No. 2 entered the store. And they emptied the cash register.
"Both suspects then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of U.S. currency and merchandise from the store. No one was injured," police said in a press release.
Suspect No. 1 is a black man in his 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 lbs, with a dark brown complexion, with a medium build. He was wearing a red bandana over his face, with a baseball cap, brown leather jacket, green cargo pants, black boots.
He was armed, police said.
Suspect No. 2 is a black man in his 20s, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 250 lbs, with a dark brown complexion, and large build. He was wearing a green oversized sweater, green pants and Timberland boots.
