DETROIT (WWJ) - This year marks a decade worth of research - examining the role of women in leadership positions within Michigan public companies.

Terry Barclay, president and CEO of Inforum tells WWJ that the data looks at the rank and compensation for women in business across the state of Michigan.

"It looks at the 100 largest public companies that are headquartered in the state and reports on the number of women in leadership roles at those companies," said Barclay.

The list includes the number of women on the board of directors, the number and percentage of woman in the executive officer rank and then the number and percentage of women in the top five most highly compensated officer positions.
