DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police arrest 4 people for allegedly attacking and beating a man at a gas station Monday.

And as Newsradio 950's Stephanie Davis reports, the department says their quick response led to the arrests.

The department says officers from the Northeastern District responded to the gas station on East 7-Mile Road near the Chrysler Freeway within 5-minutes after receiving the call of an "assault in progress."

They arrived and found a 64-year old man on the ground bleeding from his head and mouth.

Officers reviewed the station's surveillance video to identify the 4 suspects, 3 males and a female, who were quickly found and arrested.

The victim was listed in temporary serious condition at Detroit receiving hospital.
