MCWT Offers Digital Law Seminar: On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Michigan Council of Women in Technology will present "Law in the Digital Age - A New Perspective." Join our team of legal advisors as they explain how technology is shaping the field and breaking down the blurry lines between today's technology and the rules that govern our society. During this session, Cronin Law Firm Owner, Sabrina Shaheen Cronin and her partners will talk about smart phones, tablets, and social media in law and in the court room. Cronin represents individuals, corporations, and other entities in several legal matters. Register at www.mcwt.org. The event begins with registration at 5:30 p.m. and the presentation runs from 6 to 8 p.m. The venue is Epitec Inc., 24800 Denso Drive, Suite 150, Southfield. The event is free to MCWT members, $10 for nonmembers and $5 for students.

MCWT Offers Networking Event: On Wednesday, Oct. 16, the Michigan Council of Women in Technology will offer a ConnectNet Social event. Celebrate the autumn colors with your MCWT colleagues at an informal social networking event. This fun and festive mingle is our third and last for 2013. This event is free to members, including complementary light appetizers. Non-members are welcome, too, for a small entrance fee. A cash bar will be available. Register at www.mcwt.org. The event runs from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at Bar Louie, 37716 West Six Mile Rd, at Laurel Park Place, Livonia. The event is free to members.
