Pryor Knowledge Systems President Writes Multiphysics Modeling Book

BLOOMFIELD HILLS (WWJ) -- Pryor Knowledge Systems announced Friday that its president and CEO, Roger W. Pryor, has written a book for engineers and scientists entitled "RF Module: The Three-Stub Tuner."

The reader will learn to design models using a scientific first principles approach.

The example model described in detail simulates a waveguide device that is widely used in industrial applications.
The model is developed using the Comsol Multiphysics software, especially the features in its RF module.

The book is available online in digital format now, with a hardcover print version available for preorder now, and with hardcover print copies becoming generally available by the end of 2013.

The book is one of the titles published by Mercury Learning and Information in their multiphysics modeling series.

Pryor Knowledge Systems, founded in 1993, provides consulting services in engineering, physics and materials science to engineering and advanced research organizations in Michigan and throughout the United States.

Since 2006, as a Comsol Certified Consultant, the company also provides mathematical modeling services and training, helping researchers and engineers to understand the nature of physical interactions in their device designs under varied environmental and processing conditions.
