'Blueberries Billboard' Not About Blueberries After All
FLINT (AP) - The billboard in Flint that says "I'm Concerned About The Blueberries" isn't about blueberries after all.
Business owner Phil Shaltz says "blueberries" represent the daily struggles people face.
He describes it as a "stunt" and hopes it will encourage people to think about other people's problems, and help if possible.
The irony, of course, is that Michigan is a major producer of blueberries.
Shaltz paid for the billboard that went up this past week on west Interstate 69 near I-75.
