LINCOLN PARK (WWJ) – An explosion at a 4-unit apartment building in Lincoln Park shook the surrounding structure and ripped the roof from the building.

“The walls are actually bowed out,” said Lincoln Park Fire Chief Liam Carroll. “The roof on the back side has actually been lifted and turned at about 45 degrees. One woman escaped the explosion by jumping out a window a witness told WWJ Newsradio 950’s Kathryn Larson – adding that it looked as if the woman was injured.
