Marine Shocks Family With Appearance At Lions Game
DETROIT (CBS Detroit) Captain Josh Munsee of Grand Rapids gave his wife and two small children the best holiday surprise they could ask for when he ran onto Ford Field Sunday during the Lions game.
The Lions fan described how he got in touch with the organization and they arranged for him to bound on the field during the segment where the team usually thanks a service member.
In this case, QB Matthew Stafford not only thanked him -- he introduced him.
"Welcome home," Stafford said.
Munsee's wife burst into tears when she saw him, saying "He loves to surprise me, he knew this was the ultimate."
