Lions Encouraging Fans: "One Pride Blue Out" For Monday Night Game

DETROIT (WWJ) - In celebration of tonight's Monday Night Football game as Detroit hosts Baltimore, Lion's officials are looking for a "One Pride Blue Out" as they encourage all fans to wear blue to the game.

Former Lions quarterback Rodney Peete remembers that Monday night games are special.

"The first Monday night game that we had when I was here in Detroit after my second year, was playing the Los Angeles Raiders, here in Detroit on Monday night, and I knew everybody was going to be watching," recalled Peete.

Peete recalls being so excited that he "threw-up" about five times before the game. Hear all the action on our sister station -- 97-1 the Ticket beginning at 6:40 p.m.

The Detroit Lions incited pandemonium at Ford Field two seasons ago when they took care of the Chicago Bears on Monday Night Football with a home crowd so rowdy and raucous that the Bears false-started nine times.
