It’s called “New Years Eats: The Rise of 2014” and it will be held from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at the Lafayette Grande in downtown Pontiac.
Organizers say it will “Combine the best amenities of a stellar New Years Eve Party with the pulse-pounding excitement of a Halloween-like masquerade.”

It’s also billed as a “highly memorable kickoff to the New Year,” but that almost goes without saying.
Limited complimentary zombie makeup application will be offered to ticketholders beginning at 8 pm at the Lafayette Grande by metro Detroit makeup artists Trading Faces.
A $500 cash prize will be awarded for best costume.
