Tigers Hunter and Jackson Give Advice On How to Dunk a Basketball [VIDEO]

Just one time in my life I would love to be able to dunk! Just one time.

It would be amazing. I would gather all my friends around, slam it down when nobody was expecting it and then refuse to do it again. It would be the greatest moment of my life.

Of course it's never going to happen. I'm about 5'8, have no hops, at all and I'm not very athletic either. So the chances of me slamming on a ten foot rim are about as good as the Pistons beating the Heat in a playoff series.

But things are different for Detroit centerfielder Austin Jackson.

Jackson and right fielder Torii Hunter were in Texas working out together. They hit the gym hard for a couple hours, then went back to Hunter's house to hit. After about an hour of swinging, Jackson bet Hunter that he could dunk. Of course Hunter took that bet, even though he would not reveal exactly what the wager was.

It just so happens that Hunter has a basketball court in his house (of course he does, why wouldn't he) so the two didn't have to go all that far to get the challenge underway.

What transpired was pretty amazing...

Jackson refused to do it again, so it was a good thing that Hunter was recording.

But what about me? I want to dunk! Check out the advice that both Jackson and Hunter gave me as to how to accomplish my dream. In fact Jackson gave me the greatest compliment of my life as well.
