Detroit Native Pam Dawber To Reunite With 'Mork & Mindy' Alumn Robin Williams On CBS' 'The Crazy Ones'
Three decades later, Robin Williams will share the set of a sitcom with Pam Dawber. The "Mork & Mindy" duo will appear together in an upcoming episode of the CBS show "The Crazy Ones".
Dawber, a Farmington High School and Oakland Community College graduate will play a free-spirited author, who according to a CBS, "... goes on a date with Williams' Simon Roberts soon after his faith in everlasting love is shaken by the break-up of a couple near and dear to him."
"It will be a joy to work with her again," said Robin Williams. "It's a dream come true."
"I'm so excited to be able to see and work with Robin again," said Dawber. "I hear 'The Crazy Ones' set is a very happy one. I know it'll be a great week!"

Back in the Spring of 1980, Dawber visited the studio of WKBD/WWJ-TV in Southfield Mich. She posed for a photo creating a memorable moment for station employees Ken Bryant Jr. and Kris Kelly.
"... I couldn't believe that I was actually directing the show 'Bill Kennedy at the Moves' that she was appearing on." said Bryant, now CBS 62/CW50 Producer. "A young inner-city kid rubbing noses with big-time celebrities." he added.
Dawber's stature was surprising to Kelly, now CBS 62/CW50 Community Affairs Manager. I remember thinking, 'Oh, my God, she's my size!' It's that 'larger than life' impression you get of actors ..." she said.
"The Crazy Ones" airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. on CBS and can be seen on CBS 62 in Detroit.
