"Oh, you bet, this is the year they are going to go all the way," she told WWJ's Beth Fisher.

Joe McDaniel of Davison knows exactly where he wants to be sitting during the homes games at the ballpark ... he's looking along the first base line in Section 117.

"We had that a few years ago ... and we really liked that section. It's got a good view of the whole park ... lot of foul balls," laughed McDaniel.

He tells WWJ that he ready for some warm weather.

"I was ready for spring and baseball last month ... it's just taking too long to get here," McDaniel said.

McDaniel and many Tigers fans think the team will make it back to the World Series this year.

Sean O'Connor of Warren bought a package on the first base line: "If it was a nice winter I'd be excited for baseball, I love baseball."

O'Connor and his wife Mary are such fans of the Tigers that they're heading down to spring training.

"I can not sleep at night, I will not be able to sleep at night until we clinch the World Series," said Mary O'Connor.

Individual game tickets for the 2014 Detroit Tigers season go on sale Saturday, March 1 at 10 a.m. Fans can purchase single game tickets at the Comerica Park Box Office on Witherell Street, online at www.tigers.com, or by calling 866-66-TIGER.

Tickets for the 2014 season at Comerica Park will be dynamically priced, with more than 400,000 tickets available at $20 or less.

The organization says in order to insure as many Tigers fans as possible have the opportunity to experience Opening Day 2014, fans will be limited to a maximum of four tickets per person for the home opener on Monday, March 31 versus the Kansas City Royals.
