DETROIT (WWJ) – Well, here’s something you don’t hear about everyday … if ever. A metro Detroit girl aced both the ACT and SAT tests.

Seventeen-year-old Iris Huang, of Troy, is a junior at Cranbrook, and was a bit surprised she aced both of these college entrance exams.
How’s she feel about it?
“Pretty good, I guess, I mean, I feel accomplished, obviously,” she tells WWJ’s Beth Fisher. “I worked pretty hard to get good scores on those tests.”

Although it’s not a requirement at any college, many students are taking both the ACT and the SAT standardized test for college admission.
“I guess I just …I studied a lot using like test preparation books and I took some classes … like preparation classes.”
She’d like to attend Harvard or another Ivy league school and says that “for a while now, I’ve wanted to become a doctor.”
