CBS DETROIT - Former Pistons star Ben Wallace will be serving a two-day jail sentence after pleading no contest after his arrest for leaving the scene of a February car crash in Virginia, according to a report by WTVR.

Wallace received a one-year sentence, but the judge reduced it to two days, and Wallace began serving the sentence Tuesday. Evidently Wallace crashed his SUV into a fence, taking out a 20-foot section of it, around 2 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8.

Wallace played for the Pistons from 2000 to 2006. A four-time Defensive Player of the Year, Wallace played an integral role with the Detroit championship team of 2004. He also participated in the infamous Malice at the Palace.
