Own A Piece Of The Pontiac Silverdome!

DETROIT (CBS DETROIT) - How would a piece of the Pontiac Silverdome fit in your man cave?

Memories of the Silverdome include Detroit Lions and Pistons games, along with Super Bowl XVI, the NBA All-Star Game, WrestleMania III and some epic concerts.

Now seats, score boards, signs, and even toilets from the Silverdome will be up for grabs in an online auction.

Triple Investment Group, the Dome's current owner, will hold the auction May 12-16. The auction listing shows that prices for single and adjoining seats will range from $100 to over $400.

"We felt it was important that some of the artifacts and items that are no longer required be made available now to Silverdome fans here in Detroit and around North America," said Triple Investment Group President Andreas Apostolopoulos, in a news release.

The Lions called the Silverdome home through 2001 and the Pistons played there for ten years.

What's next for the Silvedome site is unclear.

"We continue to assess the status of the building to determine its viability as a venue for sports and entertainment events," said Apostolopoulos. "We are continuing to investigate all potential revenue options for the site."
