3 Young Men Sought In Northland Mall Shooting

SOUTHFIELD (WWJ) - Southfield police are looking for three young men wanted in connection with a shooting at Northland Center Mall.

It happened Monday, shortly before 2 p.m., in the parking lot of the shopping center located at 21500 Northwestern Hwy.

Police say the victim was involved in an argument with the men when one of the suspects pulled out a handgun and fired.

The victim, who was not injured, fled into the mall for safety.

The suspects, all appearing to be in their late teens, fled the scene in a silver four-door Pontiac Grand Prix or Bonneville, with a front right spare tire.

Suspect number one is a dark-complected black male, 18-21 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with a thin build and black dreadlocks. He was wearing all black clothing and armed with a black, small frame semi-automatic handgun.

Suspect number two is a light-complected black male, 18 years old, 130 lbs., with large sideburns and black braids that hung below his ears. He was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and blue True Religion jeans.

Suspect number three is a light-complected black male, 19 years old, wearing a blue "snapback" baseball hat and a blue hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about this incident, or who reclnized any of the persons of interested in the survielence photos, are asked to call Southfield police at 248-796-5500.
