Fans Invited To See "Firebreather" Up Close Before Film Debut

DETROIT (WWJ) - Before you head to Comerica Park for Tigers Opening Day, you may want to stop by the Detroit Opera House. A specially-designed car from an upcoming made-in-Michigan movie will be on display.

If you do stop by, you'll have a chance to win tickets to the North American Premiere of "Jinn," which stars Ray Park, Dominic Rains, William Atherton, Faran Tahir and Sernida Swan.

"Jinn" is a supernatural thriller that was filmed entirely in Michigan, including locations in Detroit, Ann Arbor and even inside of a Catholic convent in Monroe.

The vehicle that will be on display was created just for the film. It's the 600+ horsepower "Firebreather," a collaboration between the filmmaker and Classic Design Concepts of Wixom. Since its debut, the "Firebreather" has made several appearances in top automotive magazines and blogs and has generated millions of hits on YouTube.

You can see the car up-close between 11am and 1pm outside of the Detroit Opera House. The Opera House is located at the corner of Madison and Witherrel in downtown Detroit. Fans will also get a chance to meet-and-greet Filmmaker/Director/Designer of the car, Ajmal Zaheer Ahmad, who is also co-founder of Exxodus Pictures, a Detroit-based entertainment company.

"Jinn" opens in theaters on Friday.
