ROSEVILLE (WWJ) – A Michigan State Police trooper suffered minor injuries in three-car accident Tuesday morning.

It happened at around 8:45 a.m. along westbound I-696 near Groesbeck in Roseville.

State police said the trooper’s car was the last one hit — but no further details were released about the crash as an investigation continues.

The trooper was taken to a local hospital for treatment. No one else was hurt.

Police said it does not appear that alcohol was a factor in the accident and everyone was wearing their seatbelts.
