Smart Car Pops A Sweet Wheelie And Smokes A Mustang Off The Line

An automotive battle of David and Goliath took place at Route 66 Raceway in Elwood, IL. A modified Smart Car nearly beat a Shelby Mustang in a quarter mile drag race.

The visual will make any muscle car enthusiast cringe.

According to the YouTube description it’s an ’08 Smart Car with a Toyota Paseo engine. Due to a malfunction in the Smart Car, the Mustang eventually wins by a little more than a tenth of a second.
