Man And Woman Found Fatally Shot In Detroit Home
DETROIT (WWJ) - Detroit police are investigating a double murder on the city's west side Friday afternoon.
A 41-year old woman and a 52-year old man were found dead, shot multiple times, inside a home on Majestic Street in the area of Tireman and Livernois.
Detroit Police Sergeant Michael Woody said the home showed signs of forced entry, but was not sure of a motive or that it was even a robbery.
"The victims themselves were very well-known in the neighborhood," Sergeant Woody said. "They were both members of the community -- they took care of just about anyone who needed any help -- and so we're asking our citizens and our public to come forward with any information that they may have about this incident."
It was not immediately clear how the man and woman might be related. Their names were not released.
Police are looking for suspects and help from the public to solve the case.
