WOODHAVEN (WWJ) – A Woodhaven rest stop has been evacuated.
Police are on the on the scene, Monday afternoon, at the Detroiter Truck Stop at West Road and I-75; and there are reports that officials with the Department of Homeland Security are there as well, although that was not immediately confirmed.

A witness talking to WWJ said that there is a refinery next door, and fire trucks and police are there as well. The truck stop is host to an IHOP, truck maintenance and wash, as well as motel rooms.
