DEARBORN (WWJ) – Police and Crime Stoppers on Tuesday will officially announced a reward of up to $11,000 for the tip that leads to the arrest of a serial bank robber.
Dearborn Chief Ronald Haddad says the man robbed a Charter One branch on Michigan Ave. on May 31; a Comerica Bank branch on Warren Ave. on June 20; and a Chase Bank branch on Wyoming Ave. on July 16.READ MORE: Playa Vs. Playa Offers E-Sporting In The Heart Of Detroit's Westside
In all three cases, the suspect fled with an undiscosed amount of cash in an awaiting vehicle.
The suspect has been described as a black male (medium complexion) in his 30’s, approximately 6 feet to 6 feet, 2 inches tall, average build, and approximately 180 lbs. “Our investigation is ongoing and we believe assistance from the community will be crucial in making an arrest of this serial bank robber,” said Haddad in a media release.
